Race Director has the option of changing the races to a duathlon if conditions in the Merrimack River are unsafe on race day
(only has happened 1 time in 10
years) or, changing the length of the swim.

 

The Courtyard will be our Host hotel for anyone that needs a place to stay.  See below for rate information.  There will be 20 rooms available at this rate.

Swim Route: Up and Back - Start at the beach towards the Rouke Bridge

Run Route: Up and Back on the Pawtucket Blvd.  Water stop at every mile.

** Pre registration at Heritage Ice Cream 163 Pawtucket Blvd., Lowell, MA
10a-12p June 19th. (Highly Recommended) due that race day is very busy.

** Race day check in 6:15 – 7:45 am at the Pavilion across from Heritage Ice cream (see Directions to Venue). 

** Wonderful refreshments will be served after the races.

** Number transfer until 7-14-07.  Must be done by original participant.  Please contact Claire Cloutier:

** Confirmations will be sent by via email 1 week prior to the race.

** Transition Area A
ll races will share a common transition area.  Access to the transition area will close at 7:45 am on 7-20-07.

***** A $10.00 one day USAT member fee is required for all non-USAT members in addition to the registration fee.  Each team participant needs
to pay the one day fee if not a USAT member. 

Directions: From the south
:
Take Rte 3 North, exit #32 take a sharp right at the end of the ramp, Drum Hill Road/Lowell exit.  Sears will be on the left,
continue for 1& ¼ miles and go over the Rourke Bridge, turn right onto 113 east, go .90 mile & the triathlon is on the right (across from Heritage Ice Cream)
From the North:
Take Rte. 3 South, Take Exit 32, Go around the rotary and take Drum Hill Road/Lowell exit.  Then proceed as per the above directions.
 
Please do not prk in the Heritage Ice Cream parking lot.
